Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. The results are temporary, lasting 6 to 12 months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. The FDA approved HA filler that I use is Ravanesse Versa.
Here are a few of the common issues dermal fillers can help address: Smooth out lines around nose and mouth (a.k.a. marionette lines, smile lines)
- Enhance & restore volume to sunken cheeks or temples
- Diminish vertical lip lines
- Plump & enhance the lips
- Smooth out a chin crease
- Improve symmetry among facial features
Wrinkle Relaxers (Neurotoxin)
Neurotoxin injectables can help an adult patient of any age improve his
or her appearance, not only imparting a more youthful look, but also
alleviating an overly concerned look, helping you look better refreshed or
even more pleasant. The most treated areas are those where muscle
activity influences facial features, such as the following:
- Glabellar lines (a.k.a. “elevens” or frown lines)
- Wrinkles around the eyes, such as crow’s feet
- Forehead creases
- Corners of the mouth
- A “cobblestoned” appearance to the chin
Chemical Peel
Whether you receive a chemical peel to diminish signs of aging or treat a skin
condition, you can see:
- Fewer lines and wrinkles
- More even skin color
- Brighter complexion
- Smoother skin
